No one will want to play with you if you’ve got the wrong attitude.

Attitude check

• Don’t swear and curse, or use slurs about race/sexuality/etc
• Don’t flaunt your skill; if you’re good, everyone will know already
• Don’t be a sarcastic jerk.

• Help new users out (you were new once)

General

• Don’t cheat

Matches

• Don’t disconnect at inappropriate times
• When a user is lagging, wait for him to leave his/her situation, and then resume play
• If a player is idle, drop all flags, and wait until the player revives or is dropped into observer mode

• No mm1 (message mode 1, or non-team chat)

Courtesy

• Say ‘Nice Shot’ (or ns) when someone does make a nice shot
• Say ‘Nice Throw’ (or nt) when someone does make a nice throw

• Thank people when they compliment your shot/throw/capture. Saying “Thank You” (or abbreviated “ty”) will do fine

Running a Server

• Warn everyone before you kick/temp ban them if you’re going to start a match
